Just off the M5, between Tiverton, Cullompton and Wellington.
Hillhead Farm is an oasis of peace and quiet, surrounded by farmland, woodland and a huge re-wilding and re-greening project. We are open year-round and, being close to the national motorway system and mainline rail network, are perfectly placed for onward connections to the rest of the region, making us a great stopover location. We have free off-road parking and pick-up can be arranged from Tiverton Parkway.
Our three double rooms have en suite walk-in showers, and an extensive view over the Culm, Exe and Creedy valleys - a large swathe of Mid-Devon. Guests have exclusive use of a sitting room, with wood burner, and are welcome to sit in our large garden. Wherever possible, all the food and drink we serve is sourced from independent producers. The wildlife comes when it feels like it.
Uffculme village lies on the upper reaches of the River Culm, near to the Blackdown Hills National Landscape, officially an area of outstanding natural beauty. A network of local footpaths can be accessed from the one that starts by our gate. While ideally placed to provide a quiet overnight break on route to the South West Peninsula, the local area has enough quirky, small-scale attractions to justify hanging around for a few days.
